Example 2 — Clear favourite
Team B is the clear favourite. Odds: decimal 1.25 = fractional 1/4 = American -400. American minus odds show how much you need to bet to win ৳100. On a ৳200 bet, total return is ৳250 — profit of only ৳50.
A favourite's odds are lower because their chance of winning is higher — so the profit is lower too. An underdog's odds are higher, meaning higher profit, but also higher risk.
Live In-Play Betting

Live betting is the most fast-moving part of cricket betting. You can place bets after the match has started and odds change after every ball.
When a wicket falls, the batting side's chance of scoring runs drops — so their odds of winning the match go up (meaning lower probability). The bowling side's odds go down (meaning higher probability). If two wickets fall in the same over, the odds shift by a much larger amount.
